Jeriko Estate produces a Vintage 2000 Chardonnay.
Grown along the headwaters of the Russian River in Southern Mendocino County, Jeriko Estate Vintage 2000
Chardonnay enjoyed the warm days and cool nights known to this Northern California region.
Utilizing the latest in winegrowing technology while respecting ancient cultural practices, a tread gently on
the earth philosophy is practiced at Jeriko. The 150-acre estate vineyard is grown in accordance with
standards set forth by CCOF and the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements
(IFOAM).
The wine is 100% French oak barrel fermented and malolactic fermentation. Barrel aging takes place in
new to 2-year-old French oak for about 9 months. A firm acid structure and tropical suggestions in the fruit
complement the buttery malolactic overtones.
